When controlling the Mesa/Boogie 3ch Rectifier with the CFX4 and this cable, the following applies;

CTL1 on CTL2 off	Channel 1
CTL1 off CTL2 off	Channel 2
CTL1 off CTL2 on	Channel 3
CTL3 on/off	Solo
CTL4 on/off	FX Loop

CTL1 - CTL4 must perform LATCH type switching, not momentary, so;

If you're using MIDI Program Change messages to control the CFX4, follow the "Edit Control Configuration" section in the CFX4 user manual and configure the CTL functions listed above for LATCH type switching.

If you're using MIDI Control Change messages to control the CFX4, ensure your MIDI footcontroller is setup to transmit the MIDI Control Change messages for LATCH type switching as listed in the CFX4 user manual.

The Mesa/Boogie 3ch Rectifier requires the CFX4's CUSTOM jack to be modified so that the CFX4 can control it via a single cable. As a result of this modification, the CFX4 will not be able to control a different amplifier via its CUSTOM jack unless the modification is undone (by Axess Electronics or an authorized technician). The CFX4's CTL jacks are NOT affected by this modification.
