Just like its predecessor the RX1, the RX2 is a relay based router/switcher that provides quasi click-free audio switching, which means no loud relay noise when switching and no optical switching elements or LDR's connected in series (which results in a cumulative series resistance in your signal path) that are found in some other audio controllers.
